The course provides systematic outline of the basic perspectives of contemporary Russian phonetics from the linguistic point of view with several digressions to psycholinguistic perspective. Students master the phonetic system of contemporary
Russian in Czech-Russian comparison theoretically as well as in practice. They learn about basic rules of writing and orthography and their realtion to contemporary Russian phonetic system.
