Syllabus

1. Analyses of children?s and teenager?s health issues related to lifestyle and chronic illnesses.

2. Biorhythms in medicine and in pedagogic practices, characteristics (biorhythm as attribute to living organisms; circle: retina - hypothalamus - epiphysis - hypothalamus - hyphenises - human body cells).

3. Sleep, sleep stages and sleep disorders related to school age children.

4. Biological basis for allergies and anaphylaxis. The most common immune deficient stages, chronic fatigue syndrome. Problems in children with compromised immunity systems.

5. Child with diabetes, epilepsy (biological cause, specification in ontogenesis).

6. Biological basis for stress, children?s stressors. Predilection moments of addiction onset.

Annotation

The aim of the course is to reinforce knowledge of microbiology, immunology, hygiene and epidemiology in terms of the discipline Education towards health. The course analyses health problems of children and adolescents related to lifestyle and chronic health problems.

It includes biorhythms in medicine and in pedagogical practice, biological background of allergies and anaphylaxis, frequent immune deficient states, problems of children with immune problems, with diabetes, epilepsy, etc.
