Annotation

The aim of the course is to develop student´s practical and creative skills in the processing of non-metallic materials by available technological means.

The course acquaints students with the appropriate choice of available tools, instruments and equipment for each activity within the manual processing of nonmetallic materials on the basis of their workability and technological properties. Woodworking, maintenance and upkeep of tools for wood, chip and chipless machining of plastics, thermal plastic molding, joining part of the joint design and bonding, surface treatment of products, machinery foundations non-metallic materials are the most discussed issues.
