Annotation
he course introduces students to alternative and innovative pedagogical programs and concepts found in Czech and European preschools with children (Montessori pedagogy, Waldorf pedagogy, Reggio Emilia concept, Situationsansatz concept, Start together, Health support school etc.). Students will get acquainted with the basic principles, common and different elements of the given concepts.
The course provides students with a basic orientation in their theoretical background, but also allows them to look into the current form of pre-school equipment that implements these concepts in practice (direct in-site training or video analysis of the pedagogical practice of the model).
