Syllabus

implementation of information and communication technologies in education, position and function of ICT in education - teaching and learning; synchronous and asynchronous communication in education; the use of ICT in teaching, depending on the number of computers, applied programs, the nature of the technology used and the connection to the network at various stages of teaching; information resources (classical, e-resources), evaluation and use of resources in education; e-lerning, virtual learning environment (Moodle); design of e-learning courses; digital educational objects, their evaluation and storage; web-based learning projects (narrative of digital stories, primary sources, webquest); network generation (properties, influence on teaching methods); legal issues associated with Creative Commons; gender and ICT, problems, diagnostics; the future of education technologies.

Annotation

Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to introduce students to the application of information and communication technologies (ICT) in teaching and learning from different perspectives with the aim to contribute to the knowledge and understanding of the actual educational potential of ICT and to prepare students for effective use of information technologies to support innovative teaching and learning methods.
