1. Imunita - přehled základních funkcí: úloha imunitního systému, přirozená a získaná imunita, regulace imunitního systému.
2. Experimentální systémy v imunologii. Buňky a orgány imunitního systému: lymfocyty, mononukleární fagocyty, granulocyty, primární a sekundární lymfoidní orgány, recirkulace lymfoidních buněk.
3. Antigeny: chemické a biologické vlastnosti, adjuvancia, hapteny, virové a bakteriální antigeny, mitogeny.
Struktura a funkce imunoglobulinů: antigenní determinanty na imunoglobulinech, vlastnosti a funkce imunoglobulinových tříd.
4. Interakce antigenu s protilátkou: afinita, avidita, zkřížená imunologická reaktivita. Imunochemické reakce. Monoklonální protilátky.
5. Organizace a exprese imunoglobulinových genů: vývoj protilátkové diverzity.
6. Hlavní histokompatibilitní komplex: struktura a funkce MHC molekul.
T-receptor: vývoj TCR diverzity, MHC restrikce, vývoj T buněk.
7. Cytokiny: struktura a funkce cytokinů a jejich receptorů.
Vývoj humorální imunitní odpovědi: primární a sekundární odpověď, prezentace antigenu, úloha cytokinů.
8. Buněčná imunita: T buněčná cytotoxicita, na protilátkách závislá buněčná cytotoxicita, oddálená přecitlivělost. Regulace imunity, imunologická tolerance.
9. Komplementový systém: klasická, alternativní a lektinová dráha aktivace komplementu, regulace.
Hypersensitivita: časná a oddálená přecitlivělost, anafylaxe, hypersenzitivita z imunních komplexů.
10. Vakcíny: inaktivované, atenuované, subjednotkové, rekombinantní, vektorové.
Imunitní odpověď na infekci: virové, bakteriální a parazitické infekce.
11. Transplantační imunologie: transplantační antigeny, mechanismus odhojení štěpu, imunosuprese.
Protinádorová imunita: maligní transformace buněk, nádorové antigeny, imunoterapie nádorů.

Basic course of immunology for students of Bc. and Mgr. study programme. Students get acquainted with the structure and function of the immune system, with natural and adaptive immunity and their regulation.
Lecture is a prerequisite for following lectures like Immunology II and Immunity to Parasites.
