The course Syntax II is a continuation of the basic course in syntax. It focuses on more complex syntactic areas, such as word order, non-finite clauses, information structure, complex and compound sentences, and classification of dependent clauses.
Some of the topics are presented from a contrastive point of view, comparing English and Czech syntax.
