In human genetics course we will cover broad range of topics starting from the organization of human genomes, its evolution and phylogenetic relations, we will briefly address the technologies needed for analyzing of the genome. The students will be introduced to the basic theories of human evolutionary genetics and the main forces that form our genetics diversity (selection, migration, genetic drift, mutation).

Genetic background of diseases and inherited disorders will be also covered. This course is suitable for students with at least some prior knowledge from genetics, cell biology and population biology, which will allow us to discuss more advanced topics.
