The course will focus on the forms of the contemporary Czech family in their diversity. It will include topics that are important from a personal point of view, such as ideas about love, partnership, parenthood, as well as topics that are important from the point of view of society as a whole, such as issues of social policy or the social status of families. The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the various forms of the contemporary Czech family and to strengthen the ability to think about families and their formation in a broader context.
