Sylabus
The student learns about Czech piano literature of the 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st centuries. The student studies recordings and notations of compositions and develops a comprehensive understanding of the works of Czech composers.
The student can independently describe and demonstrate the basic characteristics of compositions from each period.

A comprehensive view of the historical development of Czech piano literature from the Baroque to the present time. Introduction to the contexts of European piano literature and the unique specifics of Czech piano literature.
