Anotace

The course defines the concept of social deviations in a broad context. It raises etopedic problems. The course describes and analyzes classical biological, psychological and sociological theories of deviant behavior. Emphasis is placed on an integrative and interdisciplinary approach to the issue of social deviations. Conceptual, theoretical and methodological problems of the study of social deviations are discussed. The course defines the basic concepts related to the issue of social deviations, including normality and its types. The course presents and discusses the goals and causes of deviant behavior. Part of the course is the analysis of selected manifestations of deviant behavior. The aim of the course is to provide a basic insight into the development and current state of theoretical knowledge in the field of social deviations, give an overview of the most important theories of social deviations, describe the functions of social deviations, emphasize the value aspects of deviant behavior, detect and analyze the causes of selected manifestations of deviant behavior. 3. Definition features of social deviation.

4. Social and non-social deviation.

5. Normative and reactive conceptions of social deviation.

6. Goals, functions and causes of deviant behavior.

7. Biological, psychological and sociological theories of deviant behavior.

8. Selected manifestations of deviant behavior (alcoholism, gambling, graffiti, prostitution, suicide, sects and destructive movements, etc.).

9. Value and ethical aspects of deviant behavior.
