Effective methods of assessment and planning support of children in kindergarten

Syllabus

Každý blok obsahuje prezenční výuku a 2 hodiny práce v online prostředí Moodle.

Členění kurzu: 1. a 2. blok: Úvod do metod formativního hodnocení a metody Learning Stories (každý blok 4 vyučovací hodiny- 6.3. a 13.3.)

 - pozorování, dokumentace a formativní hodnocení v MŠ

- teoretický základ a nácvik pozorovacích a hodnotících dovedností studentů v rámci uplatnění metody Learning Stories 3. blok: praxe studentů v MŠ uplatňující metodu Learning Stories v praxi (6 vyučovacích hodin)

- Pozorování dětí v praxi ve třídě, kde se s metodou Learning Stories pracuje, spolupráce s pedagogem na tvorbě příběhů o učení pro vybrané děti   v den dle individuálních možností studentů 4. blok: reflexe praxe a práce s příběhy o učení dětí (výsledky) praxe studentů, prohloubení dovedností studentů v práci s metodou Learning Stories (3 vyučovací hodiny) - 27.3. 5. a 6. blok: návaznost metody Learning Stories na tvorbu individuální podpory dětí v podobě plánů pedagogické podpory (3 vyučovací hodiny) - 24.4.

Annotation

The course is part of the offer of courses within the project “Support of undergraduate education at the Faculty of Education of Charles University” (reg. No. CZ.02.3.68 / 0.0 / 0.0 / 16_038 / 0006965), subactivity Development of competences of students-future teachers by interconnecting theoretical and practical teaching.

The aim of the course is to develop students' competences in the area of ​​observation, documentation, formative evaluation and individual support of children in kindergarten.

Learning outcomes of the course unit The course is practically focused on the Learning Stories method and its use in the context of Czech preschool education. The method aims to support the child as a competent learning individual. It shows teachers how to support the development of each child and how to consistently apply a personality-oriented learning model through child learning stories. The course is divided into six full-time meetings, which will focus on familiarization with key theoretical bases for formative assessment and the Learning Stories method, practicing students practical skills in child observation, documentation of its development, evaluation and linking individual and group educational offers with evaluation results. Each attendance meeting is preceded by preparation in the Moodle online environment. Part of the course is also practice in kindergarten working with Learning Stories method, reflection and analysis of practical experience of students from practice.
