Annotation
The aim of the subject Digital technology in pre-primary education is to acquaint students of the bachelor's degree program in Kindergarten Teaching with the importance of digital technologies for their own development as well as for the development of preschool children and to equip them with the relevant knowledge and skills for working with technical devices and their software support.
The mission of the course is to present the possibilities for the development of information technology activities of teachers and children in kindergarten and creative activities mediated by technology.
In terms of content, the subject focuses on the possibility of developing one's own digital and information literacy, as well as the possibility of developing these literacy skills and algorithmic thinking among children in kindergarten. At the same time, it focuses on the formation of educational knowledge and skills through interactive devices, educational robotics and didactic toys. During the course, students will learn about contemporary interactive technologies in the context of their use in kindergarten.
