The course covers the following topics: Culture and culturally determined determinants of education, the relationship of enculturation and organized educational processes. Ethnicity, nationality and marginalized minorities in education, affirmative action.
Attitudes of the majority society towards ethnic minorities and their image in the school environment. Social aspects of education of minority pupils, problems of education of pupils from socially excluded localities.
Immigration and foreigners in the Czech Republic, support mechanisms in the education of foreigners. Education of selected ethnic minorities: Roma minority.
Education of selected ethnic minorities: Vietnamese minority.
