This course provides the basic theoretical and practical skills for conducting research in education and school management. The course is designed to give students a solid foundation in research methods so that they can then actively pursue research questions as part of their undergraduate thesis.
Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the basic research methods and skills that are key to successfully conducting research in the field of school management. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to independently design and conduct simple research projects and critically evaluate existing research literature within their field of study and the topic of their undergraduate thesis.
The course also includes an introduction to the principles of thesis writing at the Pedagogical Faculty of Charles University and specifically at KAMV.
