The subject is a follow-up to Somatology I and it mainly provides knowledge regarding the integration systems of the human body. Anatomy, physiology and potential pathology of immune, endocrine and nervous systems is discussed in the view of their coordination, regulation, and defensive capabilities as well as the constancy of the inner environment of the organism.

The importance of the coordination of these systems for functioning of all structures of the human body is put into the context of integration of the human organism into higher levels – population, societies and ecosystems. The subject main objective is to provide students with theoretical knowledge of a functionally oriented somatology.
