Syllabus
1. Analysis of the elementar health-policy documents of the EU and ways of their application in the Czech Republic.2. The community, school and community projects.3. Community education.4. Possibilities of school involvement in community projects: Healthy community, city, region and the project "healthy school."5. Analysis of existing projects.6. Methodology for designing proposals for community projects.7. Creation and presentation of the proposal of students self-designed project.8. Project proposal evaluation methodology.
Annotation
This course introduces to students the main problematics of common health promotion strategies at school and among the community. The class is based on a holistic concept of health.
Students will independently prepare projects suitable for implementation in school educational programs and in community life as a result of this class.
