Organizational arrangements:
1. The student regularly works with pupils of the first degree in the field of leisure time for 2 hours a week for the whole semester.
2. The student participates in the introductory information seminar, continuous and final reflective seminar at the faculty.
3. The student performs reflective tasks in the electronic course in Moodle.
4. At the end of the practice, the student asks for confirmation of the practice with the assessment.
5. The student presents in the study group at the faculty a work file (portfolio), which consists of reflections of all his / her own activities - lessons in leisure facilities, self-reflection and also a mentor evaluation from a leisure organization, which coordinates, leads and evaluates the student's practice.
The aim of the course is to systematically support and develop the competences of teacher training in working with primary school pupils in extracurricular areas. An integral part of the course objective is for students to get acquainted with the nature of the interests and needs of first-grade pupils out of school, enabling them to be sensitized to understand the characteristics and specifics of contemporary childhood. It can be work with pupils in leisure-time facilities of various orientation and character, as well as regular and long-term tutoring. Teaching students get the chance to work systematically with pupils in the area of guiding or assisting hobby groups, scout clubs, sports clubs, lecturing hobbies, as well as working with class at school in nature, including its active preparation, etc. Specifically, this means that teachers receive systematic Possibility to work regularly with an individual pupil or with a group of pupils in a selected area of leisure time activities. This practice enables students to gain experience in organizing, securing and leading hobby, recreational activities, and to deepen their practical experience in first-grade pupils.
We assume that this teaching practice will enable students to develop the following areas of competence: application of acquired theoretical knowledge in the field of pedagogical-psychological preparation, competence in the field of communication, organizational skills in the field of leisure time education, understanding of the personality of the contemporary pupil, development of reflection and self-reflection skills.
