Annotation
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the subject "Information Technology Elementarist I" is to acquaint the students of the study program Preschool Education with the importance of initial information technology education of preschool children and the possibilities and directions of this educational effect with emphasis on experiential learning. The course should support the formation of technically oriented creative thinking of children, the foundation of their digital competences and the ability to communicate using digital technologies while respecting the specifics of mental and psychomotor development of children.
In this respect, students will be prepared to use interactive whiteboards or carpets, tablets, programmable kits and programmable toys, including appropriate software support, and develop their ability to evaluate, apply, or create relevant digital objects.
