Annotation
Předmět volně navazuje na Světovou literaturu v bakalářském cyklu. Cílem bude zamyšlení nad možnostmi zprostředkování světové literatury ve výuce, jež s sebou vždy nevyhnutelně nese otázku výběru a zúžené perspektivy na širokou oblast světové literatury. Základem bude práce s textem a diachronní přístup, který však lze produktivně narušovat tematickými či intertextuálními sondami. Budeme se ptát, jak zpřístupnit studentům časově vzdálená či literárně náročná díla a jak jazykové výtvory zasadit do společenského a kulturního kontextu, a přitom neulpívat na biografických datech.
The course is closely related to World Literature in the Bachelor's degree. The aim will be to reflect on the possibilities of conveying world literature in the classroom, which always inevitably entails the question of choice and a narrowed perspective on the broad field of world literature. It will be based on working with the text and a diachronic approach, which can be productively disrupted by thematic or intertextual probes. We will ask how to make temporally distant or literary works accessible to students, and how to place linguistic creations in a social and cultural context without relying on biographical data.
