Syllabus

1: Concept e-learning 2: History of e-learning in the Czech Republic (TET97 Conference, project eDIHO, project eDIfALL, SCO Conferences in Brno, MoodleMoot, etc.). First platforms used in the Czech Republic: Learning Space, Microcosmos in Project School+, první verze oodle 1.0. Taxonomy of E-learning activities in schools.

Some examples of on-line activities for pupils in the Czech schools and abroad. - eTwinning 3: Fundamental concepts: digital educational object, OER, platform, remote laboratory, virtual laboratory, open education, OWC, MOOC, Khan Academy. Examples of OER.

Practical activity 1: Design and organise a webinar.

Annotation

The course focuses on fundamental concepts (e-learning, e-portfolio, OER, LO, LOR, MOOC, open education etc.) and on didactic (pedagogical) aspects and questions of ICT applications for educational environment arrangement, for key process support running in school education and for optimal conditions arrangement for collaboration and communication in comupter networks among all actors participated in education. The Student teachers familiarise with main methods and procedures, how teachers or learners can arrange and develop his/her own working space using computers and computer networks whereof learners can learn, organise activities, save and archive outcomes of his/her works, share tools and knowledge or whereof teachers can develop his/her teaching plans, use available instructional tools, aids for assessments and control methods.

The course is dedicated to virtual educational collaborative environments, technology support for learning content distribution, pedagogical communication, collaboration among all actors of education, sharing of tools and feedback, learner/teacher working space, for monitoring and archiving learning and instructional processes, etc.
