Annotation

The course is devoted to selected questions of the very young branch – Didactics for Computing Education (Didactics for Teaching Informatics). It lacks research that would show how informatics concepts are learned, formed and developed by children, primary school pupils and secondary school students.

The main focus of the course will be on the Didactics for Computing Education at basic school level with an emphasis on the newly implemented compulsory subject "Informatics" in the curricular document RVP ZV. The course follows up on some questions addressed in the subjects "Didactics for Teaching Informatics and IT", "Teaching approaches to computational thinking development " and " Didactics of Algorithmization and Programming".

We will focus on teaching approaches to main topics included in the subject "Informatics and ICT" in the revised RVP ZV using available teaching and methodological materials, including materials created in the PRIM project (imysleni.cz).
