Annotation

The goal of the course is to introduce students to the contemporary possibilities of robotic systems and kits intended for the educational process, both in pre-primary education (kindergarten), 1st and 2nd grade. Primary and secondary schools.

The basic goal of the course is a practical introduction to school systems supporting the teaching of robotics. The teaching of the subject is didactically, project-oriented, and at the same time focuses on the development of programming techniques in iconographic development environments intended for the respective systems and the construction of your own robotic model.

During the teaching of the subject, a functional connection of the theoretical level with the practical is assumed. At the same time, sufficient space will be created for demonstrations and training of practical and creative activities with technological means designed to support the implementation of educational robotics activities.

As part of teaching the subject, the following thematic units will be addressed in particular: Educational robotics; Basic concepts and general principles of robotics; Relationships between the design solution of robots and their useful properties; Hardware and software support of educational robotics; Modeling the activity of robots using (school) robotic systems; Possibilities of programming robotic systems; Alternative options for programming robotic systems; Construction, programming and operation of assembled robots, advanced activities with an interdisciplinary overlap or laboratory focus; Project possibilities of educational robotics in the educational process in kindergarten, primary school, secondary school; Possibilities of expansion and additional systems for robotics.
