Annotation

The aim of the course is to acquire in-depth knowledge of intellectual disability with a focus on the characteristics of Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorders, and concurrent disability with multiple disabilities with a focus on cerebral palsy, which can be perceived as a combined disability with varying degrees of intellectual disability, sensory impairment and impaired communication skills. Students should acquire and master theoretical knowledge and practical skills in education, intervention, therapy and psychosocial support of students with the above-mentioned range of disabilities.
