Obsah:

1.      Náhled na možnosti vyšetřování zrakové ostrosti, kontrastní citlivosti, barvocitu, zorného pole a adaptace na světlo a tmu.

2.      Možnosti funkčního vyšetření zraku, kdy mapujeme všechny složky vidění.

3.        Možnosti diagnostiky a rehabilitace zrakových dovedností, pochopení funkčních dopadů jednotlivých diagnóz predikujících zrakové postižení.

4.      Možnosti diagnostiky a rehabilitace CVI.

5.      Nácvik kompenzačních technik pro využití zbytků zraku za pomoci speciálních optických pomůcek.

6.      Návrhy a úpravy prostředí.

7.      Nácvik samostatné orientace a pohybu v prostoru u osob se zrakovým postižením.

Annotation

The aim of the course is to introduce special education students to the basics of vision therapy. Vision therapy is a set of methods for diagnosing visual functions and visual skills and subsequent special methods for developing visual functions and skills with the aim of making the most possible use of impaired vision with the help of rehabilitation and compensatory aids and special procedures and techniques for the use of vision.

Vision therapy enables and facilitates the long-term process of developing and maintaining visual capabilities for obtaining information from the environment, for communication, education and training, for self-service, spatial orientation and independent movement, and for managing normal daily activities. Vision therapist is a profession working in the healthcare sector in the Czech Republic (according to the valid amendment to Decree 424/2004 and Act 96/2004, par. 23a).

The scope of work of this specialist is described as diagnostic, therapeutic, rehabilitation, preventive and dispensary care in the field of vision therapy. He is a person with a university degree in the field of special education.
