Annotation
The aim of the field special education practice is to introduce the student to the current form of special education counselling support for students with SEN and their teachers. The students' practice takes place in all types and levels of schools in school counselling centres and special education centres.
During the internship, students get acquainted with the standard activities of the selected institution. They get information about the division of competences between the members of the management and the staff of the counselling team, about the priorities in the field of education and training of pupils with special educational needs, about the forms of cooperation with parents and about the current legislative regulations that are binding for the school counselling centre or SPC.
During the internship, students perform prescribed tasks of a reflective nature, which they work out in a portfolio. The focus of the internship will be modifiable by mutual agreement according to the specific conditions of the selected facility.
