Annotation
At the level of contemporary knowledge, the subject presents history and the current direction of the concepts of support for people with disabilities. It focuses mainly on the constitution and development of special pedagogy as a scientific field with its interdisciplinary links.
Its aim is to acquaint students with the world of people with disabilities and their special needs with emphasis on traditional and newly assigned target groups of special pedagogy. Socialization from a historical perspective and integration and inclusion as a process will be introduced.
Students will be acquainted with current special pedagogical literature and the latest research in this area.
