1. Gerontagogika jako součást věd o výchově (edukačních věd) – vývoj, historické, antropologické a filozofické souvislosti
2. Význam a vztah klíčových pojmů: stáří, stárnutí, aktivizace a edukace seniorů, specifika učení, poradenství pro seniory, kvalita života, mezigenerační učení a solidarita, autonomie ve stáří
3. Problematika stáří a stárnutí v evropském civilizačním prostoru
4. Multidisciplinární a teoretická východiska stáří a stárnutí, klasické teorie stárnutí
5. Demografický vývoj v ČR a ve světě
6. Specifika vzdělávání (edukace) v seniorském věku (z hlediska psychologického, didaktického, sociologického a biologického)
7. Vzdělávání seniorů – vývoj, možnosti, funkce a význam
8. Gerontodidaktika – východiska, metody, formy a pomůcky (využití ITC ve výuce)
9. Formy vzdělávání seniorů – univerzity a akademie třetího věku
10. Analýza strategických dokumentů k problematice stáří a stárnutí

Annotation
The course deals with the issue of old age and aging in an andragogical context. In today's society, old age is one of the current political, economic, social and demographic issues.
Gerontology deals with topics that it systematically develops. These are mainly issues of activation, animation, therapy, intergenerational and cultural activities, social and community integration of seniors into society and quality of life.
Gerontology is constituted as an applied andragogical discipline focused on educational activities with adults and especially seniors, both in terms of education and training for old age, and especially activation and education (education) in old age. He also deals with the study of intergenerational relationships and intergenerational learning.
The overarching discipline of gerontology is gerontology as an interdisciplinary science bringing a summary of knowledge about old age and aging from the perspective of medicine, demography, psychology, sociology and economics.
