Annotation
The seminar consists of three parts :
(1) A short systematic presentation of crucial chapters of the Old French phonology and morphology in form of philological, phonological and morphosyntactic commentaries of key scripta in the history of French language.
(2) An initiation into paleographic and codicological analysis.
(3) An introduction to the esthetics of the medieval literature and to material realizations of medieval scripta as well as their setting to music.
