1) Health and disease – systemic concept.
2) Determinants of health and health promotion in pre-school setting.
3) Health risks in preschool age.
4) Principles of care for chronically ill patients. The issue of chronically ill children in pre-school facilities.
5) Principles of pre-medical first aid in children.
6) Practical course of selected pre-medical first aid procedures.
Annotation
The course presents basic knowledge about human health in a holistic concept, with an emphasis on the health of a preschool child. Attention is paid to the factors determining the health of the child and the possibilities of influencing them in pre-school facilities.
The most common health risks and diseases of preschool children are discussed, including training in providing pre-medical first aid.
