Annotation

Introduction to TEFL Methodology I is a theoretical and practical seminar, the main aim of which is to introduce students to the basic concepts and key concepts in the field of didactics (e.g., communicative competence, the role of the foreign language teacher, activity and its planning, lesson preparation, grading and evaluation of students). The seminar will define subject area of TEFL Methodology I and briefly introduce the most important factors of the teaching process.

Students will learn about the objectives and content of teaching English as a foreign language. Attention will also be paid to the two most important actors in the teaching process: the learner and the teacher.
