Formulating the description of the thesis and the assignment. The structure of the Bc thesis. Research questions and hypotheses. Sources and literature.
2. Academic writing: the structure of the text, language, strategies. Working with sources, citation guidelines.
3. Students’ individual consultations with the potential Bc thesis supervisors, researching the literature, selection of a suitable topic, formulation of the thesis assignment. Preparing the presentation of the Bc project.
4. Presentation of the selected Bc thesis topics.
5. Presence at the Student conference
The course, which is designed for the future authors of Bc theses, aims at developing the productive and receptive skills associated with academic writing. It focuses on a critical approach to the sources, editing, and the basics of methodology and ethics of the disciplines which the students will explore in their Bc theses. Topics
