Annotation

The aim of the course is the mastery of the grammatical features needed for the subsequent courses on morphology and syntax in the following semesters; the understanding of all verbal tenses and moods (both single and compound ones) in a text, as well as of non-finite clauses; the ability to form these structures. In order to learn about different types of clause relationships, a summary of the use of prepositions and conjunctions is provided in logical sequence, particularly for expressions of time, cause, consequence, purpose, concession, condition and comparison.

In this course, it is assumed that students have already understood the role of the parts of speech, their possible transformations and subsequent blending.
