Annotation
The course in French as a Foreign language (FLE) is based on the Cosmopolite 3 (B1) coursebook. The aim is to provide the students with the opportunity to gain language skills at B2 level while being in contact with authentic French.
The emphasis is put on developing the language and intercultural competencies. Apart from working with the French coursebook (including interaction in seminars, creative writing with feedback, developing the ability to express opinions both in speech and in writing), the students will be using also the Czech coursebook Francouzština pro pokročilé, which is intended for the students of faculties of education and which includes authentic texts, various kinds of exercises (focused on grammar, vocabulary or speaking) and units devoted to translation (from French to Czech and vice versa).
The coursebook also contains commonly used phrases, dialogues, letters etc.
