(3) Diasystémy Románie; opozice langue – dialecte – parler – patois. (4) Srovnávací gramatika románských jazyků; srovnávací lexikologie románských jazyků.

Annotation

Students are introduced to the Romance branch of the European part of the Indo-Germanic languages and their place among other European languages. The areal delimitation of the use of Romance languages, Romania, and its various subdivisions are introduced; the major sub-areas are described dialectologically.

From the point of view of variational linguistics, the diferent variational formes, varieties of different statuses – langue – dialecte – parler – patois, etc. In the logic of the individual levels of description, students are offered insight into the diasystems of the main Romance languages, their mutual affinities and their common Italic roots.
