Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to systematize, deepen and broaden knowledge and consolidate skills in the field of German parts of speech with the exception of the verb. The content of the course is therefore a theoretical analysis and practical training of German word classes.
Word classes are traditionally divided into flexible and inflexible. In terms of flexible parts of speech are discussed individual grammatical categories and all kinds of flexion, ie declination, conjugation, escalation (the last one is also in the inflexible part of speech adverbium).
In comparison with the verbal generic counterparts in the Czech language, the parallels and contradictions between the two languages are pointed out so that the students understand the nature and functioning of the German word classes and try to eliminate undesirable interference influences by the mother tongue. The discussed morphological issues are continuously didactized with regard to permeability to the master's degree program.
