Annotation
The aim of the course is to introduce the issue of standard standard pronunciation of the German language. In the lectures, students get acquainted with the theoretical foundations of the disciplines of phonetics and phonology.
In the seminars, they analyze the sound side of German, systematically practice standard pronunciation, especially in problematic sounds with the aim of mastering the articulatory basis for the pronunciation of the German language and phonetic transcription of the text. The seminar begins with an introductory recording of an unknown text.
