The course is focus on acquaint students with the basic principles of administration of operating systems on the Windows platform with emphasis on their server editions, selected services and basic technical components. The course follows the issue of management of workstations and servers and its content focuses on the management of the ICT environment, their processes, services and events, working with data access rights, data backup, user accounts and groups, and system registry.
It also discusses the work in a Windows (Active Directory) and service configuration file server, web server, DNS and DHCP. Peripherally also deals with the issue of collaboration and virtualization of operating systems Windows and Linux in the same network.
