The aim of the subject is to supplement and practice knowledge of high school physics so that students acquire knowledge from selected physics topics (basics of kinematics and dynamics, mechanical work and mechanical energy, mechanics of rigid bodies, mechanical oscillations, mechanical waves, electric charge and electrostatic field, electric current , magnetic field, hydrostatics, hydrodynamics, termodynamics, optics, quantum physics) and learned to use physical knowledge and laws when applied in electrical engineering and computer technology with regard to selected functions of computer technologies. Emphasis will be placed on practical topics (investigation methods in physics and experiment), but also theoretical topics (with an emphasis on the importance of mathematics for the formulation of physical knowledge and laws and on the applications of physics in technology and computer science).
