Annotation
The study subject Administration of operating systems follows on from the subject Functions and principles of operating systems. The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic general principles of Unix-type OS administration, their selected services and technical building elements.
In the practical part, students will learn to install and configure one of the Linux distributions, then they will get to know in detail the administration of user access, network configuration, solving various problem situations and the basics of security.
