Special Instrumental Preparation I

Class at Faculty of Education |
OPBS4H012A

Annotation

The goal of this course is to equip the choral student with the specific instrumental skills needed to play choral scores that are different from playing piano literature (e.g., reading multiple music at once, octave transposition of tenor parts, etc.). It also includes chordal guitar playing, which is well suited for use in artistic and pedagogical practice - chords and common rhythmic figures.

The emphasis is on aural imagery. The selection of pieces is guided by the degree of difficulty, taking into account the technical maturity of the student, from easier to more complex.
