The subject of Human physiology acquaints students with the essence of the functioning of the human organism – with the function of each organ system (musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, CNS), but also with the functioning of metabolism, thermoregulation, etc. The acquired knowledge will be the basis for the follow-up subject, Physiology of Physical Exercises.

As part of the course, the student is introduced to the basics of providing lay first aid, emphasising the methods of delivering it in life-threatening situations.
