The basic focus of the course is to introduce students to the comparison of the possibilities of artistic creation in "natural" and artificial environments. Opportunity to grasp a selected physical place, as a spiritual, sensory and artistic space for personal reflection.

Students can use the opportunity to follow the artistic expression of other students as a preview of the stages of the creative process and its dynamics. The content of the course is the perception of the genius loci of a certain place and human activity in a specific locality.

Mapping a place, its observation and defining topics. The output of the course is an individual student project as a specific form of intervention in a specific place, reflecting and using the environment.

The relationship to the individuality of expression and the connection to possible pedagogical activities in activities with children and students in spatial, artistic drama and action is essential. The project includes technical (photo, video) records of events, objects and installations as a basis for the overall evaluation of the student.

The aim of the course is to apply and capitalize on knowledge from semester teaching and understanding the connection between the function of landscape and lived architecture in fine arts. Finding the relationship and attitude to the chosen place, to a specific space in the landscape.

The possibility of transforming the discussed topic (genius loci of a certain place) into a model lesson.
