Annotation
Introduction to the field of free graphics and visual communication. The course is designed as a creative workshop led by two collaborating teachers, supplemented by lectures from both disciplines.
Understanding the specifics of different interpretive positions. Interest in the field and individual knowledge of the context of the fields of the subject will strengthen the students' orientation and allow them to think competently about the possibilities of the fields taught at school in art lessons.
The aim of the module is to look at the principles and contexts of free and applied graphics in the context of contemporary visual culture. Work on a series of art exercises.
To explore the phases of the creative process and its dynamics, to raise issues of motivation to create, to reflect on the cognitive and expressive aspects of creation. The student will gain basic practical knowledge and skills in the field of technology development.
The student will gain a basic orientation in the field of theory and history of graphics and visual communication. The student is able to illuminate and defend the content and formal form of their own project consisting of two items, explain the basic ways and principles of all solutions, design a way to present their entire work in the semester in the form of a portfolio.
The student is able to interpret the experience of the semester for the needs of school practice. Graphics: A set of defensible author's graphic sheets.
Orientation in the field of graphics. Ability to interpret graphic procedures in the current school.
Visual communication: A set of art exercises based on the interaction of font and image. Credit requirements: Defensible author's cycle composed of two disciplines of the semester on a common topic in the form of a comprehensive presentation.
Active participation in seminars.
