Syllabus
Ongoing work on a defensible author's portfolio, based on the study of context. The set of tasks will be based on the possibility of working at home, without the use of printing on a graphics press.
The portfolio will contain solutions to all assigned tasks that will arise during the entire IB. The works will be instructed by sets of graphic sheets of authorities searched on the basis of recommended professional sources. The portfolio will include work with matrices and their reproductions (terrycloths, scans) and alternative forms of drawings. Matrices and drawings will be the basis for supplementing the portfolio with computer (and other) registers.
The theoretical contents of the semester are based on a systematic study of graphic authorities according to the proximity of the techniques we use (monotype, terry / papercut / linocut) - written semester study (2-3 standard pages and documentation).
Part 1 of the semester - Graphic nonlinear drawing. Area and structures. Drawings interpreted in drawings.Part 2 - Paper engravings (dry needles). Points, lines, structures and areas, using experience from previous work.
Part 3 - Common computer registration of author matrices.
Part 4 - Linocuts (monochrome, reproduced by terrycloths).
Written semester work.
The individual parts of the semester will be closed on the agreed dates with joint presentations with evaluation.
Annotation
Koncepce a základy specifického grafického výtvarného jazyka. Grafika není technologicky rozmnožená kresba. Fenomén kontrastu spolu s hledáním rozmanitosti lineárních a tiskových struktur. Kreativní principy autorského tisku. Černá x bílá – valéry šedých – barevný soutisk pomocí transparentních barev. Autority grafických disciplín historie a současnosti.
Základní specifika a výrazové možnosti uměleckých grafických technik. Zákonitosti grafické tvorby. Základní grafické techniky tisku z výšky. Výtvarné etudy a experimentace v grafických a aplikovaných grafických technikách: linoryt, dřevořez, dřevoryt, papírořez, monotyp atd. Kresebný a tiskový základ grafického média. Grafika, její vznik a základní vývojové proměny. Analýza významných období a děl v proměnách grafické umělecké tvorby. Grafické řady, cykly a projekty. Možnosti uplatnění graficky ve výchovné práci s dětmi a mládeží. 2. distanční verze
Portfolio dokumentující realizaci kvalitního souboru tisků s pracovní dokumentací. Orientovanost v oblasti historie a současnosti grafiky. Vlastní výběr autorit k jednotlivým technikám. Společné průběžné hodnocení. Semestrální studie autorit v grafickém umění.
