The course is based on a holistic approach to health and provides basic knowledge of health psychology. Attention is paid to different approaches to human health phenomenon, selected theories of health and disease are presented.
Emphasis is placed on clarifying the issue of stress, incl. stress management process. Personality and situational factors influencing the course of stress reaction are analyzed in detail.
