Annotation
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the phonetic and phonological description of French, its syllabic and prosodic system in their interrelation. Emphasis is placed on the phenomena in which interference with the learners' mother tongue is most frequent, while didactic recommendations for teaching practice are not neglected.
Methods of phonetic correction and selected linguistic and didactic literature related to the teaching of phonetics are presented. The seminars are devoted to the practical application of the knowledge acquired in the lectures and the development of one's own speech and perceptual skills.
