Annotation
The course focuses on propedeutics of one of the basic psychological disciplines, which also has a strong overlap in pedagogical practice. During the semester, students will learn various aspects of the development of an individual from prenatal age to death.
Within the emphasis on the theories of lifelong development, students will be motivated to critical thinking, search for connections between the most famous theories of development and individual phenomena of individual development, as well as orientation in the current direction of empirical interest of Czech and world developmental psychology. It will reflect the current topics and changing trends in contemporary developmental psychology, which students will actively seek and discuss in the seminar part of the course.
