Annotation

A seminar is focused on the implementation of one's own author's project, which can be included in a personal portfolio of art works and didactic materials. The course, conceived as a creative workshop, is intended to enable the student a deeper insight into the laws of book production.

The basis is creative etudes and experimental activities in materials and techniques developing the skills of artistic vision, thinking and creation through a broad expression of various media. The student develops the basic knowledge and skills that he has acquired in previous seminars in the form of independent work on a comprehensive author's project.

The student is familiar with the theory of relevant fields. The student is able to include the individual implementation steps of the author's project, plan and determine the timing of the implementation of individual stages of the project (topic determination, thematic sketches, technical sketches, final output).

The student is able to illuminate and defend the content and formal form of their own project, explain the basic ways and principles of solution, design a way to present their work. The student is able to translate creative experience into the design of pedagogical output.

Reflection and analysis of the (own) creative process in the form of reflective practice and didactic transformation. The aim of the course is to bring students to understand how to use visual means in the creative process and how to further transform them into the curriculum of art education.

Work on the author's cycle based on the principles of contemporary illustration and book graphics.
