Syllabus

1. Receptive language skills: listening and reading,

2. Productive language skills: speaking and writing,

3. Production of  teaching materials/activities,

4. Micro-teaching within the framework of individual skills + the follow up reflection,

5. Assessment and marking of student performances within individual skills.

Annotation

The aim of the course is to develop the knowldge basis of the teaching profession. Based on the ability to set aims, communicative competemcy, lesson planning etc., and in coordination with the principles of teaching language systems, within the framework of this course the students will get acquainted with the basic principles of the development of language skills, both in the theoretical as well as practical way.

Microteaching, including its evaluation and self-evaluation, supports the development of the ability to set aims, plan, realize and evaluate the students´ own teaching as well as the teaaching of their colleagues. For the purposes of their microteaching and consquent reflection the students will use observation feedback forms.

Study programmes
